“Every child is an artist, the problem is staying an artist when you grow up.”
While I can just hope that as I age, I do not lose the art of imagination, I know a lady who has kept the artist in her alive even at the age of 65.
She is my neighbor – Renu Aunty 🙂
I am delighted to be residing close to someone as talented as her. She is from Hyderabad and often surprises us with yummy, spicy Andhra food. While her culinary skills are par excellence, she also loves to craft and stitch.
She has beautifully embraced today’s technology and uses YouTube to continuously enhance her crafting skills. When she first told me that she does craft, I was happy to hear that, but never could have imagined her to have the patience to do 3D origami.
Time and age do not hold her back from bringing her imagination to life. I often hear her working on her projects late night or early morning. It is difficult for her to rest till the time she is satisfied with the end result. A trait that we share in common.
Thank you Renu aunty for allowing me to share your work. You truly inspire me!
